Fortune Teller

I'm rummaging around in the wardrobe this morning for my Mystic Millie outfit. Today is Budget Forecasting Day at work, not only next year's sales revenue & expenditure, but also my predictions for 2012 & 2013. What a joke, honestly - 2013!!!! Wish me luck as I gaze into my crystal ball & make my predictions. I reckon the only reliable prediction I'll be able to make by the end of today is that if MOTH hasn't finished that b..... bathroom by then, I'll be giving him to the gypsies!!

  2. I love a good budget fore-guess, sorry forecast. I go through the same thing. And we have to guess at economic conditions, charge out rates, likelihood of people paying our bills or not, prospective projects - it's all impossible and involves a lot of crossed fingers. xoxo. I have always wanted to visit a crone like fortune teller.

  3. Wish there was more to tell about reading between the lines. I actually accidentally published that quote last week. Although, hubby did call me up one day from work extremely frusterated and told me to start looking. That is code for find us some jobs down under because I am ready to quit this one. I found out that we will need jobs to sponsor us in order to get our visas. When he got home later that day and I told him about the sponsorship, he let me know that he was just venting and really, he did not want to move. This is what I have to live with. The Drama. One thing though, he did tell me that I my great aunt passes away and I inherit a large sum of $$$, we can move. You will be the first to know if that happens. Fingers crossed. Love, Heidi

  4. out to 2013, seriously!?!?! So not the same... but reminds me of boarding school - they asked us to tell them what we wanted for lunch a fortnight ahead, um hello!?!? Don't envy your need to do budget projections. Hope things are well in the Hills, a bit more Spring/Summer weather would be nice, wouldn't it?! xx

  5. OH NO Millie - not the dreaded 'give away to the gypsies'! Here our wonderful men try to do the right thing by us (in your case re-doing the less than perfect bathroom ceiling, in my case, spending long weekend days slogging away at technical house design details) and then we go and complain about it. Good luck to both of you today - the miracle forecasting and the perfect ceiling!!
